OnlyKey Achieves FIDO2 Certification

We’re proud to announce that OnlyKey is now certified by the FIDO alliance as a FIDO2® certified authenticator!

What does FIDO2 certification mean?

OnlyKey and OnlyKey DUO share the same firmware and are now FIDO2 certified authenticators.

• As part of FIDO2 certification an independent security evaluation was completed.
• OnlyKey passed interoperability testing ensuring that it adheres to the FIDO Specifications and interoperates with other products — e.g., a FIDO2 Certified Server can accept any FIDO2 Certified authenticator, irrespective of its manufacturer.
• FIDO2 certification will permit better integration with other products such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
